Hi I am Lisa, 30 + years experience in art
I studied Textile Design and Fine Art in South Africa. After having children, I decided to return to my career in Art and Design, and since September 2008 I have been painting and creating full time. Bright colours and pattern inspires me, and I am always working on ways to bring that into my paintings. I explore a big variety of techniques and styles, and have experience in relief printing, realism art, semi abstract still life paintings, collage and most recently abstract art!
I am probably most known for my realistic animal portraits where I capture beloved pets on bright opaque backgrounds in acrylics.
Very recently we have moved to the very inspiring city of Brighton and Hove and I am looking forward taking part in many art opportunities here.
